Kizimkazi is the most well-known dolphin spotting area in Zanzibar, situated on the Southern shoreline of Zanzibar island where The Dolphins are officially protected by the 420 km2 Menai Bay Conservation Area, you can see both bottle nose and humpback dolphins.

The shallow waterfront waters around Kizimkazi are a most loved joint for dolphins that come here for the solid food flexibly, to nurture their calves, rest and mingle. However, a few bottle nose dolphins remain at Kizimkazi lasting through the year.
